Stuffed Crust Chicken Pizza
- 7-inch pocket pita bread (make sure it has a pocket)
- ¼ cup low-fat or fat-free mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup fat-free tomato sauce
- 2 oz. cooked chicken breast, shredded
- ¼ cup chopped purple onions
- 1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic
- red pepper flakes
- oregano
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut a small opening on the side of the pita bread. Sprinkle with 2 to 3 tablespoons mozzarella cheese and ⅛ teaspoon oregano. Spread sauce on top of pita bread; add cheese, onions, cooked chicken, and fresh garlic. Sprinkle with additional oregano and pepper flakes, if desired. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
